1st day school

Today is Kyrsten's 1st day of private Catholic school. The uniform is a white collar shirt, a plaid jumper, a school blue sweatshirt, blue or tan shorts, white socks that go above the ankle, and all black shoes. She is joining them on day 1 of the second quarter.

She was attending a public school, and while she had some wonderful friends and the teacher was fantastic, there were too many mean kids there. She said, "it's really hard to go to school and learn when so many kids say mean things to you all the time. I just want to go to school where the kids are happy and nice to me."

Keeping fingers crossed that this school fits that description! :)
